The Columns

Moved from its original site in 1972, the Columns has been restored and furnished with antiques, and is now home to the Chamber of Commerce in Tallahassee.

Union Bank

Built in 1841, Union Bank is Florida's oldest surviving bank building. The building was opened as a museum in 1984 and now houses a collection of artifacts and documents reflecting black history and culture. Union Bank is one of five sites managed by the Museum of Florida History.

In 1982, the Old Florida State Capitol building was restored to reflect its 1902 appearance and opened as a museum. The building now houses special exhibits that delve into the state's political history and the history of the building.

The Knott House Museum

The building that now houses the Knott House Museum was built in 1843 as a private home. The home has been restored to its original splendor and is furnished with Victorian antiques owned by the Knott family when they purchased the house in 1928. Guided tours are available.

This historic antebellum home was built in 1856. The gardens are adorned with massive oak trees and several varieties of camelias that are in blume from January to March. The home is open to the public from Monday to Friday.
